Musically the album dips into bass heavy reggae, baile funk, electronica & trap while lyrically touching on themes of Irish emigration, addiction, heart break, conflict & hopes of peace.

The 10 track epic hosts a collection of songs written over the past decade between Ireland & India, with each song putting a spotlight on different aspects of growing up, mistakes made & lessons learned. This can be heard in lines from songs like “Hope”

“Mo chara made a mockery, dishonestly a steal, the sky fell down on top of me no that just how it feels, no thats just how it felt... time will heal like nothing else”

and in the title track

“I remember when, act tuff and we all pretend, lone wolves in the lions den, windswept by the western winds, born and bred Atlantians, cast your line when the mackerels in, fishermen never learn to swim...”

The album was produced in Galway & Goa by Cian Finn & Sarvesh Shrivastava featuring friends Mohamed Alnuma on the track "Free" & Craig Reynolds on hang drum on the title track "When we were young".
